Our year at a glance

There were many successes over the past year, including:
  • Development of a comprehensive learning and skills programme
  • An enhanced offender management programme to help ex-offenders turn their lives around
  • New partnerships with high profile organisations such as 4Children and Kalyx 
  • Our Parent Champion project, which connected with almost 1,000 families in its first six months and helped children, young people and families 
  • The launch of the pioneering Clean Break programme to help people who have experienced drug or alcohol addictions

  • National recognition for the Warbarth project as it scooped a Justice Award 
  • Acclaim for the Kormo Shadin project as it helps the local borough council scoop a top award 
  • Celebrations around the fact we’d helped 80,000 people into work
  • Making a shared commitment to improving quality and accessibility as we joined forces with the PCS union
  • Winning the Two Ticks Award for our commitment for being positive about people with disabilities 
  • Featuring on BBC Breakfast, BBC News 24, Radio 4, Times, Financial Times and The Guardian along with many, many others 
  • Raising our profile at events including all the political party conferences 
  • Organisation of the very first Welfare to Work Wales conference 
  • Sharing a platform with high profile MPs and ministers 
  • Launching our brand new website 
  • Setting up our own Green Team 
  • Going to the top of the class after being rated very highly in Ofsted reports for work carried out in Plymouth and in Brighton 
  • Improving our end to end service for our jobseekers following an extensive study by highly regarded external research body, The Buzzz 
  • Developing a new internal grading structure and revised training programme
